NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

The Georgetown Housing Authority, Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 6:15PM via conference call regarding consultant Tarvaris McCoy.

Resident Advisory Board Meeting

Resident advisory Board meetings will be held every 3rd Thursday of every month. at the David H. Drayton Community Center located at 1 Lincoln St, Georgetown, SC. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the needs of the residents of Georgetown Housing Authority and the use of CFP 2023 funds being made available from HUD. All residents are encouraged to attend.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

A public hearing will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the David H. Drayton Community Center located at 1 Lincoln St, Georgetown, SC. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss all aspects of the 2023 5-Year Action Plan/Annual Plan for Georgetown Housing Authority. Public housing comes in all sizes and types, from scattered single family houses to highrise apartments for elderly families.

Housing Choice Voucher

The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program, formerly known as Section 8, is rental assistance in the private market.

This program is governed by a waiting list and preference. Applicants must apply and qualify to receive services.
